Moms are every-day warriors and probably the toughest beings on earth, but sometimes, among the baby-cuteness, we forget. When I wear my A.S.98s not only do I feel like I can perform my mommy job in-style, I feel powerful. With crazy and exhausting working mom days, my outfit must be up to the game and if needed, ready to take me through the transformation from Mommy to Mother of Dragons.
Inspired
Making tech for a living means paying attention to detail, finding what makes humans tick, and taking risks. When I wear my A.S.98s and they are intricately adorned with metal hardware and bold designs, I feel inspired to create beautiful things. At this point, my outfit not only reflects who I am, it is also a reminder that beauty is in the details.

Why do we buy shoes (probably more than we need) if not to make us smile? Do we not trot in the street with boldness when we find that special pair? When I wear my A.S.98s, that’s exactly how I feel, special. If they made A.S.98 slippers they would probably make the process of waking up way better. For now, I’ll keep wearing my A.S.98s out and about because I work really hard and I deserve them, because life as a mom requires some sort of pampering, and because sometimes I just want to feel special.
