We adore Kaylah Stroup's playful approach to life & style- and haircolor! Here this Cleavelander is sharing some of her city's bests, but fair warning- this post might make you hungry!
Some of my favorite spots around Cleveland, OH (aka where I can be found if I’m not at home snuggling my animals!)
Wendy Park. When you think of Cleveland, OH your first thought probably isn’t the beautiful beaches. Lake Erie is a lot bigger than most folks think though and it offers up some gorgeous beaches right outside of downtown. Wendy Park isn’t necessarily our most manicured beach but it’s a super peaceful spot to listen to the waves crash into the shore and occasionally find beach glass.
Beviamo Cafe. Cleveland has many excellent coffee options but none as good as Beviamo. It's a relaxing neighborhood coffee shop with many doggie visitors. (Is this a selling point to me? Heck yes! I love dog watching!) They offer a full vegan menu as well as lots of coffee options. The staff is super friendly & the seating is cozy. I’m a big fan of their dirty chai with oat milk, it’s the best I’ve ever had.
Mason’s Creamery. Mason’s Creamery will change the way you think about ice cream, seriously. I honestly don’t even enjoy ice cream anymore unless it’s from Mason’s! Housemade ice cream in unique flavors that are always rotating. Mason’s is basically gourmet ice cream without a snobbish attitude. Picture perfect murals + lots of outdoor seating = the perfect spot for a summer evening date.
Edison’s. Edison’s is a bar & pizza kitchen located in my favorite Cleveland neighborhood, Tremont. I’m a huge fan of their pizza by the slice. It’s one of the first foods I fell in love with when I moved to Cleveland. I love grabbing a slice with my friends and eating it across the street on a bench. Nothing beats eating one of their massive greasy slices outside as the sunsets!
